Member Survey
A core part of the value of the Black Economy Cultural Insight Network is the power of connection—bringing together cultural thinkers, community storytellers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and insight leaders from across the world who are committed to understanding Black life with depth and context.
While you joined our list with your email address, building a truly vibrant, insight-rich community requires knowing more about the voices within it. That’s why we ask every member to complete a short Member Survey about their background, work, community ties, and cultural insight interests.
A curated portion of your responses will be included in our Member Directory, helping others understand who is part of this growing movement. Your answers will also help power meaningful data visualizations we share publicly—showing the richness, diversity, and collective expertise of our network.
Your perspective matters.
Your experience adds value.
Your participation helps build the cultural insight ecosystem we need.
It only takes 5 minutes.

Member Directory
The Black Economy Cultural Insight Network Member Directory is a living resource that highlights the voices shaping our community. It includes the names, locations, professional affiliations, cultural focus areas, and research interests of members who complete the Member Survey.
The directory is updated regularly as new members join and contribute their perspectives. You can view or download the latest version anytime if you’d like to connect with fellow insight leaders, entrepreneurs, and cultural researchers within the network.
This directory also serves as the foundation for the visualizations you’ll find throughout our site—illustrating the geographic reach, cultural diversity, and research disciplines represented across our membership. These visuals help us see the bigger picture: the collective intelligence and lived experience driving our work forward.
Previous Member Directory results, including the full 2025 dataset, are also available for review.
