Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
Black Economy Solutions is a cultural insight research firm. This policy covers blackeconomysolutions.com, our contact form and our surveys. If you have a question about your information, reach us through the contact page.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, plus anything else you choose to enter. When you take a survey, we receive your answers. Your name and email are optional on our surveys.
Survey drafts on your device. Long surveys save your answers in your own browser as you go, so you can close the page and come back. That draft stays on your device and is deleted when you submit the survey.
Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To read and answer your messages.
- To understand the problems our community faces and to guide our research.
- To follow up with you, only if you ask us to. If you take a survey, give your email address and do not choose "No follow-up at this time", we may send you one email inviting you to book a conversation. You will not receive it if you have already booked.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Services that help us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website: a form service that receives contact and survey submissions, a scheduling service for booking conversations, an email service for replies and follow-ups, an automation service that sends the single follow-up email, and a website host. Each one handles your information only to provide its service to us.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies. If we add website analytics, they will only run after you agree in the privacy bar, and you can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and survey responses for as long as they are useful for our research and for following up with you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Tell us to stop contacting you. You can also choose "No follow-up at this time" on any survey.
Send any of these requests through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
